Fall Decorations

Tuley got a new pumpkin to hang on his house! I don't know whether he's noticed, but I sure like it.

Michael's had fall flowers and fruits on sale for 70% off. I bought this fall fruit wreath to attach to a bittersweet wreath that I already had. I love the way it turned out.

Winter Pansies

I pulled up the vinca today and planted pansies in their place. Lowe's is clearing out the pansies, so I got 3 6-packs and 3 3-inch pansies for $2.66. They look pretty good despite their bargain price.

Amos

It is supposed to freeze tonight, so I pulled up the gangly impatiens at Amos's feet. He looks a bit bare and naked, but maybe a little more fall-like.

Fall Garden

All summer, Tuley left the peony alone. I came home Friday to see it engulfed in a hug from Mr. Fat and Furry.
This is what happens to impatiens that got a little too dry one too many times. I think they make get just a bit too much sun around the amur maple.
The vinca around the mailbox have done really well! They tolerate days without water and hours and hours of direct sunlight.
