January Won't Last Forever

Yesterday David called from North Carolina after he'd seen bedding plants and hanging plants outside at a Wal-Mart. Meanwhile, this is the view from our back door. The snow is pretty, but it is hard to imagine that it will soon look like this again. Or that this empty spot will be full of impatiens, hostas, and ferns.

Tuley got a new pumpkin to hang on his house! I don't know whether he's noticed, but I sure like it.

Michael's had fall flowers and fruits on sale for 70% off. I bought this fall fruit wreath to attach to a bittersweet wreath that I already had. I love the way it turned out.
